This is the good kind of truth—the kind that surfaces and simplifies everything and ensures that meaningful connections and solid decisions get made, healthier relationships get built, and great work gets done.  This work is anchored in our unique ability to give actionable feedback in a way that it can be heard and to teach you and your teams how to do this well too.  The process we take you through as a team is an adaptation of our one-on-one coaching process and is customized to meet the specific needs of your team and/or whole organization, whether it is professional or personal in nature. Once you’ve been through a “Core Work-Out™” and developed your own individual and collective Personal, Professional and/or Career Maps™, you can put these invaluable tools and insights (along with a cadre of new or honed interpersonal, leadership and communication skills) to work in all parts of your life and work, enhancing every relationship, engagement, and outcome. 

The best and most productive teams comprise individuals who know themselves, who feel empowered, and who are expected to use their power well and in accordance with agreed upon and highly explicit rules of engagement.  The best and most productive teams have achieved deep understanding and basic agreements about the essentials involved in building powerful and effective teams and getting great work done, understanding the overarching vision, mission and purpose, understanding key roles and responsibilities and how to hold each other accountable to play their positions, and understanding how to communicate well given the context of the engagement, not too much and not too little.  Our “Core Work-Out™” provides a framework within which to achieve this clarity and alignment.  Once this is done and the team is anchored in this work, get out of the way—the path to the finish line or commercialization is clear. 

As a result of this process, every individual on your team will become a stronger leader; each of you will emerge seeing yourselves as leaders in your own life and work and with a deeper appreciation for the importance of this.  Each of us shows up very differently and much more powerfully, in the best sense of the word, when we understand that there is a difference between being in a leadership position and seeing ourselves as a leader, ready either to take the lead or follow at any given moment.  Most of us are already accomplished business people so that will just get better and each of us will become a better team player, mentor, student, teacher and/or parent as we do this work and develop a strong sense of stewardship; of personal and professional direction.

In other words, as a result of this process, individuals and team members will become serving leaders.  Already competent and able to get a lot of good things done, they will be even more competent and able to get great things done, both on their own and through their organizations—all the while anchored in and aligned with personal and organizational values. This kind of work, centered in one’s values, in one’s core, is what reduces conflict within, the worst kind of conflict, and builds better individuals, better relationships, better work teams, better businesses, better communities and a better world.
