- What’s it worth to you to save an employee or hire one who is a star?
- What’s it worth to you to complete meaningful projects on time, on budget and on target?
- What’s it worth to you to have one less disagreement a day, a week, a month?
- What’s it worth to you to go to bed worrying about whether or not your goal’s too low versus too high?
- What’s it worth to you to feel “at home” in the office and to know that you are doing great work in the company of great people who feel great about their jobs, their work place and your leadership most of the time whether or not they like or agree with every decision that’s being made?
We believe that any group of two or more people must commit itself to spending as much or more time learning how to build and sustain successful relationships as it does learning how to build excel spreadsheets, conduct experiments, sell effectively or acquire whatever new technical skill is required. We believe that leaders in organizations, individuals who benefit from the privilege and power of their positions, have more responsibility than ever before to become masterful at leading and managing people, at finding, using and honing their voices/speaking skills (and encouraging others to do the same), at building powerful and effective teams and at creating the conditions necessary to thrive in order to do the work that each of us has come together to do. For every basic skill they learn and master and for every day they apply, model and teach it, they will not only serve their company and generate better results, they will contribute to building a better world.
What is team and personal leadership development worth to you? Imagine both the quantitative and qualitative benefits. If even a short list pops into your head, then call me and let’s talk. It really doesn’t take much to shift a team into high gear once it’s anchored in its fundamentals—its shared mission, clarity about roles and responsibilities and how to hold one another accountable to play his or her position, and agreements on how to be together including the right amount and types of communication. One of the keys to success in any engagement is the overall design of the team’s alliance, in the people, the structures, the agreements, the behaviors and the working assumptions that have been put into place, either overtly or tacitly—overt is better. The rest is easy—you already get how to do things; how to get things done. This is about creating the conditions to thrive so that you can do what you do, better.
We can serve as a catalyst for you and your team, an objective and neutral third party, there to assist you with integrity and intention and there to bring expertise in good process and powerful and effective interpersonal and team building tools to the table. You will acquire these skills and further hone these good behavioral muscles in the process.
As with the coaching, consulting engagements are unique to each situation, individual or collection of individuals and customized engagements are always an option. For these, rates will be negotiated to reflect the specific work and circumstances involved. As a general guideline, independent of these scenarios, the following rate structures will apply:
- The daily rate of $4,500 applies for any coaching, consulting or speaking conducted on-site and requiring significant travel or time away from the home office, along with travel and expenses as agreed upon in advance of any such engagement.
- A minimum half day rate of $2,250 will be applied under these circumstances.
- Consulting services can also be purchased at the hourly rate of $450 for virtually any application or question.
If and when you’re ready for more and better outcomes and more fun in the process, call me. The world needs more and better leaders. Join me in becoming better at it than ever and, perhaps, one day modeling this for another, perhaps as a mentor or coach to a young and aspiring leader in your community or in one of our leadership programs for kids. Work can still be a lot of fun.
Contact us and let’s discuss what you’re looking for, if we’re a fit and how we might serve you. We will develop a proposal for you from there. |
